The fixtures for the 2027 Women’s Six Nations Championship have been confirmed, with England and France once again meeting in the final round.

The two sides have dominated the Women’s Championship in recent years, with them winning the past 10 editions (France have won two and England have won eight) and will face each other in a Grand Slam decider this weekend following unbeaten campaigns thus far.

2027 Women’s Six Nations fixtures confirmed as England v France set for round five

As has been the case this year, the Women’s Six Nations have adopted a ‘Super Saturday’ format for 2027 with all three Tests being played consecutively on a Saturday. The Championship will start on Saturday, 10th April and conclude on Saturday, 15th May, with one fallow week between rounds three and four as per this year.

In addition to this, the Women’s U21 series will once again run in tandem with the senior competition and will once again feature ‘double header cities’ with U21s matches happening on the same day in the same city.

The decision to retain the ‘Super Saturday’ format comes off the back of yet another stellar Championship, which has again seen records smashed across the board.

209,692 fans have attended matches in stadiums across the four rounds to date, a 98.5% increase on last year, with a further 12.85 million viewers watching on TV across the core markets. Furthermore, 77,120 fans were in attendance at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham for England’s opener against Ireland, which set an all-time tournament attendance record for a single Test in the Women’s Six Nations.

As part of the fixture announcement, the broadcasters for the 2027 edition have also been confirmed, with the BBC and S4C (Wales) broadcasting in the UK, RTÉ and Virgin Media in Ireland and France Télévisions in France. Italy’s broadcaster is yet to be announced, however.
