The Red Roses’ potential Six Nations Grand Slam decider against France will be played at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, the RFU have confirmed.

John Mitchell’s side take on Les Bleus in round five of the Championship next year, with the sides once again expected to be involved in a Grand Slam race. England and France have finished first and second in the Six Nations table in every edition since 2020, with the Red Roses scooping seven successive titles along the way.

Last year’s Six Nations also saw the pair meet in a Grand Slam decider in Bordeaux, with Mitchell’s side running out 43-28 victors on the day.

Commenting on the fixture, Red Roses captain, Meg Jones, said: “Games against France are always a competitive battle and that’s what makes it one of the most enjoyable games to play in.

“When you add the walk-in from the bus, the roar of the Allianz Stadium crowd and a sea of cowboy hats, it makes it an even more incredible occasion. It’s one we relish and are looking forward to.”

Elsewhere, the RFU have also confirmed the Red Roses‘ clash with Italy in round three will take place at Franklin’s Gardens. The Northampton Saints and Loughborough Lightning ground played host to the same fixture back in 2023, with the Red Roses posting a 68-5 victory that day.

It also hosted several Rugby World Cup fixtures last year.

“Franklin’s Gardens is a hotbed for English rugby and we love playing there,” said England and Loughborough Lightning back Helena Rowland.

“You saw in the 2025 Rugby World Cup how amazing a place it is for women’s rugby and how much the fans embraced having a Red Roses match there. The crowd was absolutely electric that day, as it always is when we play there, and no doubt it will be the same against Italy next year.”
