Cam Jordan will swap Kingsholm for Kingston Park next season, penning a deal with Newcastle Red Bulls

Newcastle Red Bulls have further bolstered their squad ahead of the 2026/27 PREM season, drafting in Gloucester lock Cam Jordan. 

The ex-England age-group player is the latest to join the cashed-up Red Bulls, putting pen to paper on a two-year deal with the North West outfit.

He now becomes the club’s 10th signing ahead of next season, following Elliot Millar Mills, Franco Molina, Rusi Tuima, Sam Graham, Hoskins Sotutu, Max Hicks, Raffi Quirke, Josh Hodge and Fehi Fineanganofo to Kingston Park.

Commenting on joining the club, Jordan said: “Red Bull are an organisation with a proven track record for success in any sport they are involved with.

“The ambition for the future of Newcastle Red Bulls is very exciting, and something I’m looking forward to being a part of.”

Newcastle Red Bulls’ sporting general manager, Neil McIlroy, added: “Cam is a big, physical lock who will help add go-forward and set-piece ability to our squad.

“He has a lot of Gallagher PREM experience, he’s at a good age and he will be an important part of that engine room aiming to get us on the front foot.”

As McIlroy says, Jordan will bring heaps of experience with him to the North West next season, with the club aiming to climb up the table.

After progressing through the club’s academy, he made his Leicester Tigers debut against Wasps in the Anglo-Welsh Cup, but made just four further appearances for the club before heading to pastures new.

He was eventually picked up by Gloucester, but quickly made himself a regular first-team member at Kingsholm, making 80 appearances for the club to date, including 14 alone this campaign.

Across his time in Cherry and White, Jordan has also crossed the whitewash on eight occasions, two of which have come this season.
