In numbers: The All Blacks’ INSANE 50 game unbeaten run at Eden Park since 1994

The All Blacks have a remarkable record stretching back to 1994.
The All Blacks are now unbeaten at their spiritual home, Eden Park, for an unprecedented 50-Test matches after defeating Argentina 42-10.
New Zealand’s record at the venue includes two draws and 48 victories, having last tasted defeat at the Auckland stadium in 1994, falling to a 23-20 loss to France.
That defeat was significant not only because of the result but also because it featured one of the most iconic tries in rugby’s history, dubbed the ‘Try from the End of the World’.
In fact, since 1921, the All Blacks have lost just 10 Test matches at Eden Park, boasting a win rate of nearly 90%.
However, since 1994 they have faced 12 different oppositions and been successful over them all.
We take a deep dive into their current unbeaten run, taking a look at who they beat during this 30-year-long period and by what margin.
Australia – 20 losses at Eden Park
Far and away the most frequent Eden Park visitors over the last 30 years, it hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for the Wallabies.
In fact, Australia last clinched a win over the All Blacks at their fortress in 1986, with tries from David Campese and Andrew Leeds helping the side clinch a 22-9 win.
Since then, it has been a run of 20 successive defeats, with the narrowest margin defeat being by three points (in 1991) and the biggest by 36.

They faced off twice in 2011, both during the Rugby World Cup, suffering a 42-11 defeat in the pool stages and an 8-7 loss in the final – the latter ending a 24-year wait for a second World Cup title for New Zealand.
