Speaking of the Tigers, they too had a player included in the squad with lock Ollie Chessum being the second name that was read out by Ieuan Evans.

Meanwhile, Northampton Saints had the joint-second most players named in the British and Irish Lions squad, including the youngest member, Henry Pollock.

The players from the East Midlands club watched the announcement together.

Staying in the Premiership and the Bristol Bears squad went ballistic when Ellis Genge’s name was read out.

The same was true over in Glasgow when Scott Cummings’ name was called and for the other three Warriors named.

Finally, Leinster had the most inclusions in the squad and the club’s social media team spoke to Andrew Porter moments after his name was read out.
