Youth and bench delights Brown

England full-back Mike Brown praised the replacements bench after they ran out 35-25 winners over Argentina on Saturday to seal the series.
Eddie Jones’ charges scored four tries as the series was won 2-0, and star Brown admits the last six weeks of hard work has been worth it.
“I’m so happy for the boys, especially the young guys who have come here, they’ve put their best foot forward and shown how good English rugby is at the moment,” he told England Rugby.
“It was a massively tense last quarter, and the tired bodies out there really dug in – great work by the finishers coming on and picking up the tempo and line speed in defence. They were crucial.”
Brown, who set up two brilliant tries for his side in Santa Fe, added: “I’m thrilled, it’s been six weeks of hard work, with a new set of players, but we’ve all dug in and it’s fully deserved.”
Meanwhile, in-form fly-half George Ford was also delighted with the victory.
“It wasn’t pretty, there were a lot of errors and we certainly didn’t get going with our game but we found a way to win,” he said.
“Argentina are a brilliant team and you have to be at your best to win or somewhere near your best so we are very happy.
“With this brilliant young squad to come over here and win 2-0 is a great result.”
