Not second in the world for nothing

Regarding the Women’s Player of the Year, I am disappointed that Canada (currently ranked #2 in the world) does not have a player nominated.

Their performances last summer in the Super Series, defeating England, France and the USA, deserves some recognition.

The team played some outstanding rugby and while I would suggest none within their ranks would expect or seek such acknowledgement, a tip of the hat for their efforts is due.
