Warburton to miss six weeks

Cardiff Blues have confirmed that British and Irish Lions captaincy favourite Sam Warburton will be out of action for six weeks.
Warburton suffered a knee injury in the Blues’ 24-24 draw with Ulster last week in Belfast.
The 28-year-old sustained a medial ligament strain in the fixture and will now miss the rest of the regular season with the Blues.
Warburton has been tipped to lead the side for Lions for a second time after taking the side down to Australia four years ago, when the Lions won the series 2-1.
The Lions depart for New Zealand in eight weeks’ time, meaning Warburton should make a full recovery in time before the squad depart.
Head coach Warren Gatland is set to name his squad next Wednesday on April 19.
