The Waratahs will be without prop Al Baxter for Saturday's Super 14 game against the Highlanders at Carisbrook.
Baxter suffered a knock to the head against the Chiefs last weekend and will be rested as a precautionary measure. His place goes to Sekope Kepu, which means Matt Dunning switches to tighthead.
“Al struggled a bit this week with some headaches and although the scans have been positive he's not ready to play on Saturday,” said Waratahs Head Coach Ewen McKenzie.
McKenzie has also rotated Will Caldwell into the starting side at lock with Dean Mumm playing from the bench.
“We've got a pretty good record at Carisbrook, but that counts for nothing come Saturday,” added McKenzie.
