On this day 21 years ago Scott Gibbs crossed for what proved to be the match-winning try against England in a classic Five Nations fixture, ultimately wrecking Clive Woodward’s side’s Grand Slam dream as Wales won 32-31.
That outstanding score from the Welsh centre was a thing of beauty as he danced round the English tacklers after making an initial bust and meant Scotland would be crowned Five Nations champions for the first time since 1990.
