Reds winger Henari Veratau has been called up to the Australian Sevens team.

Reds winger Henari Veratau has been called up to the Australian Sevens team.

He was drafted in as a replacement for injured centre Luke Inman, ahead of Round Four of the International Rugby Board (IRB) World Series – in San Diego (United States) on Saturday and Sunday.

Reds coach Phil Mooney said with the 24-year old not required for the Reds' final Super 14 trial match against the Western Force in Perth on Thursday, the opportunity was there to allow him to assist the Sevens campaign and gain additional game time to aid his Super 14 preparation.
