Van Graan linked with Munster role

Springboks' assistant coach Johann van Graan is poised to take over the reins at Munster following Rassie Erasmus' departure.

Van Graan currently coaches the Springbok forwards and is the only surviving member of the 2015 Rugby World coaching staff.

Erasmus is returning to South Africa in December as Director of Rugby to oversee South African rugby’s eight national teams and participation and management of 20 competitions as well as the development of players, coaches and referees.

Another South African, former Western Force coach Dave Wessels was initially touted as a replacement for Erasmus but with the news that he will take over at the Melbourne Rebels,

Van Graan is now frontrunner for the Munster top job, according to the Irish Times.
