After leading 18-7 at half time, the Turbos went on to outscore their hosts six tries to three and cemented Otago to the bottom position in the process.

Aaron Cruden was once again in form for Manawatu, kicking 16 points and pulling the strings in an impressive back-line display.

The visitors outscored Otago six tries to three and dominated both territory and possession for most of the game to run out deserved winners.
