Treviranus bemoans intercept try

Samoa captain Ofisa Treviranus admits that JP Pietersen's intercept try was the turning point in their heavy loss to South Africa.
The Samoans went down 46-6 at Villa Park, conceding six tries in total, including a hat-trick for Pietersen.
However they had led 6-3 early on and looked the better team until Mike Stanley's ambitious wide pass was picked off by the Springbok winger who had the pace to race over from halfway.
South Africa never looked back, and Treviranus believed the game would have been much tighter if not for that mistake.
"We expected South Africa would come hard at us today. We tried to play smart rugby, but the boys didn't deliver on the field," he said.
"JP Pietersen, that intercept in the first half cost us for the whole game. After that intercept, some boys had heads downs.
"It would've been a tough game, but we would still have had a chance.
"We're looking forward to fixing our mistakes and preparing the next game.
"We have two more games. We have to look at Japan's weaknesses and strengths. Our pool is now open. We lost today but we still have a chance."
