Top 14 play-offs confirmed
Oyonnax made history by securing a play-off spot in only their second season in the Top 14, with a trip to Toulouse on the cards.
Operating with the smallest budget in the Top 14 hasn't stopped Oyonnax from achieving something quite remarkable this season, thanks to the boot of Benjamin Urdapilleta and the great work of their pack.
It wouldn't have happened howoever without Lionel Beauxis missing a winning conversion for Bordeaux-Bègles against Toulouse, with his side as a result missing out on the top six and going into the Champions Cup play-off against either Gloucester or Connacht.
Toulouse finished in third despite playing 50 minutes with 14 men against UBB after Census Johnston's red card, meaning they will host sixth-placed Oyonnax.
The other clash next week will see Stade Français at home to Racing Métro in a Parisian derby, even though Stade lost 27-0 to Brive on Saturday.
The winner of Toulouse-Oyonnax and Stade Français-Racing Métro clashes will then take on either Toulon or Clermont, who finished first and second respectively.
