Top 14: Montpellier coaching trio extend contracts

Montpellier has announced the extension of the coaching staff of Philippe Saint-André, Olivier Azam and Jean-Baptiste Elissalde for three seasons.

With the team having gone through a superlative run of form which has taken them to the verge of a home semi-final in the championship, owner Mohed Altrad moved quickly to keep the staff in place.

The move also saw Azam and Elissalde promoted formally to co-head coach, with Saint-Andre as director of rugby.

In other contract extension news, Brive have announced extensions to the terms of Irish three-quarter Stuart Olding and Fijian winger Setareki Bituniyata.

Olding will stay for three more years, Bituniyata for four.
