Three-week ban for Danny Cipriani

Gloucester fly-half Danny Cipriani has received a three-week suspension following his sending off against Munster in their Champions Cup clash.

Cipriani was red carded after his shoulder made contact with Munster centre Rory Scannell’s head during the opening half at Thomond Park.

And following a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday the Cherry and Whites fly-half has been banned for three Premiership Rugby Cup games.

Cipriani is poised for his Gloucester comeback in their return to Premiership action, against Leicester Tigers at Kingsholm on November 16.
