With another pulsating week of Super Rugby done and dusted, it's time to look at who caught the eye in Round Seven.

Surprisingly – or unsurprisingly for some – the Rebels are well represented (three) in this week's selections after yet another come-from-behind win in their debut season… this time over the Force.

The Highlanders are also in the thick of it thanks to their home victory against the Brumbies, while the Blues (two), Reds (two), Bulls (two) and Stormers (one) all get the nod.

But lets not forget the losing sides in the form of the Hurricanes and Western Force, who still had plenty of reason to smile thanks to some stand-out performances…

15 Isaia Toeava (Blues): The All Blacks utility back once again showed why he leads the competition for the most line breaks as he carved up the Cheetahs defence at will and scored the Blues' decisive try against the gutsy visitors.

14 Kade Poki (Highlanders): The Highlanders returned from a bye and Poki returned from injury to continue his fine form for the southerners. Didn't cross the whitewash, but played a big part in setting up two tries for his team.

13 Digby Ioane (Reds): Keeps unlucky Jaque Fourie out this week after a solid outing in midfield against the Lions. Looked threatening every time he touched the ball, and was rewarded with a try.

12 Luke McAlister (Blues): Threatened from the get-go and made light work of the Cheetahs defence, setting up all but one of his team's four tries while his kicking performance from the tee was also top notch.

11 Luke Morahan (Reds): There weren't many left winger's out there that really caught the eye. In an office vote, Morahan wings it this week… keeping out the likes of Drew Mitchell, Francois Hougaard and JP Pietersen.

10 Danny Cipriani (Rebels): We're going to get a flood of hate mails from Bulls supporters, but the flashy former England fly-half was again at the heart of the Melbourne side's comeback by pulling all the strings towards another upset win for the Rebels.

9 Fourie du Preez (Bulls): Ok, his halfback buddy didn't make it but Du Preez gets the nod over Sarel Pretorius after guiding his pack around the pitch with aplomb, launching pin-point kicks and providing quick ball for Morne Steyn to do the damage with the boot.

8 Gareth Delve (Rebels): What's this? Another Rebel? Delve was influential in his side's win in Perth and has been a consistent performer week in and week out for the tournament newbies.

7 Schalk Burger (Stormers): Returned to Super Rugby with a bang. Burger led his team from the front with his trademark runs with ball in hand and uncompromising defence. Picked up the only – but crucial – try in the match too.

6 Jack Lam (Hurricanes): May have been on the losing team, but Lam gets our player of the week! Full of bulldozing runs, brutal hits and exceptional support play for the 'Canes – this 102kg, 1.88m loosie is going places.

5 Hugh Pyle (Rebels): Where did this guy come from? The Rebels' best kept secret was let out of the bag after being named in the starting line-up in place of the injured Kevin O'Neill, who is now going to find it tough getting his jersey back following this man-of-the-match outing from Pyle.

4 Sam Wykes (Western Force): Wykes was equally impressive for the Force and one of the few players on the losing team to hold his head high after the home side's collapse in Perth.

3 Werner Kruger (Bulls): A bullish performance from the Bulls tighthead – rock-solid in the scrum, and never took a step back in loose play.

2 Jason Rutledge (Highlanders): A dazzling display from the 33-year-Highlanders hooker, who crossed the chalk twice inside two minutes that laid the foundation for a well-deserved victory against the Brumbies.

1 Jamie Mackintosh (Highlanders): The game needs more leaders like Jamie Mackintosh, who has been a shining light for the Highlanders thus far in 2011. Showed plenty of grit and was worthy of the crowning touchdown that sealed the win for his team.
