Another round gone, and another headache at selecting who we thought turned it on in Week 12 of Super Rugby. Five Crusaders made it!

Another round gone, and another headache at selecting who we thought starred in Week 12 of Super Rugby!

15 Riaan Viljoen (Cheetahs): A hat-trick of tries by the Cheetahs full-back meant it was pretty hard to overlook the one-time capped Bok.

14 Lelia Masaga (Chiefs): Didn't find the whitewash, but helped his team get there on several occasions after running circles around Robbie Robinson.

13 Jaque Fourie (Stormers): The Stormers' most potent attacking weapon got in for a try for his team, and made life difficult for Robbie Freun in midfield. Why he was taken off, we'll never know.

12 Sonny Bill Williams (Crusaders): Displayed outstanding discipline in defence and pure class on attack, getting his trademark offload away to spark the Crusaders' first try.

11 Sitiveni Sivivatu (Chiefs): The All Blacks winger returned from injury with a bang for the Chiefs, causing all sorts of trouble with pulsating breaks and powerful runs against the Highlanders.

10 Sias Ebersohn (Cheetahs): Succeeded with all 10 of his kicks at goal in a flawless kicking performance with the boot. More of the same will be required against the Crusaders this weekend if the Cheetahs are to stand any chance. No pressure then!

9 Will Genia (Reds): Our pick of the bunch this week – Genia was superb against the Rebels, showing excellent vision throughout which resulted in the no-nonsence number nine setting up half of the Reds' tries.

8 Kieran Read (Crusaders): Handed back the captaincy armband after Richie McCaw pulled out on the eve of the match, Read was immense in leading his team to a vital victory.

7 David Pocock (Force): Won his team-mates several penalties thanks to some superb work on the deck, that James O'Connor dualy converted into points. It wasn't enough though for a win, but Australia will be pleased with Pocock's return to form in such a short space of time since returning from injury.

6 Scott Higginbotham (Reds): Speaking of form, this bloke is having the season of his life at the moment for the Reds. A sensational solo try coupled with strong defence and barn-storming runs made Higginbotham a stand-out figure in melbourne.

5 Chris Jack (Crusaders): Newlands would have been a home away from home for Jack, who played at the ground a few seasons ago for Western Province. And it was as if the veteran lock never left, after making himself quite comfortable at home once more against the likes of the towering Andries Bekker.

4 Steven Sykes (Sharks): Bossed the Brumbies at the line-out and was resilient on defence. The Leinster-bound second-row forward picked up a try too for his efforts.

3 Owen Franks (Crusaders): Made mince-meat of the Stormers' front row.

2 Keven Mealamu (Blues): You don't see him much on the big screen, but that's only because he's doing all the dirty work behind the scenes.

1 Wyatt Crockett (Crusaders): Not often you see a brace of tries from a prop, but Crockett was on hand to do just that amongst other things in a solid outing for the Crusaders.
