It is time for Planet Rugby’s Sunday Social, your quirky recap of the serious and not so serious talking points from the past week’s action.

Rugby players and fans around the globe are still in limbo at home amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and most of them have taken to social media to show how they are coping during this time.

We start in Wales, where Scarlets’ international flyer Tom James paid tribute to his mum, who returned home after winning her battle against Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Harlequins second-row George Merrick paid homage to the NHS by raising money for them in this creative way after they saved his dad from coronavirus.

In New Zealand, former All Blacks captain Richie McCaw showed off his bagpipe skills with this tribute to his country’s war heroes on ANZAC Day.

On a lighter note, we’ve seen several trickshots in recent weeks. Check out this effort from this rugby fan.

Edinburgh’s supporters will not take too kindly to this tweet which has a dig at the PRO14 outfit’s crowd numbers.

Staying in Scotland, where former Scottish international Scott Hastings’ wife, Jenny, has found an innovative method for her and her neighbours to keep fit while under lockdown.

Meanwhile, Montpellier’s Leicester Tigers-bound utility back Nemani Nadolo took the cycling option to stay fit while at home.

Staying with the fitness theme, in South Africa, the Lions players are also using some unusual ways to keep their fitness levels at an optimum level.
