Meanwhile, in Cape Town, just before going into lockdown, the Stormers joined some South African artists to do a recording of their team song, The Crossing. It was originally sung by Johnny Clegg, who died of pancreatic cancer last year and the Stormers’ version features the likes of Siya Kolisi, Jamie Roberts, Steven Kitshoff and Herschel Jantjies stepping out of their comfort zone.

Staying in South Africa, Cheetahs utility back Craig Barry spent his time by handing out food parcels to the community in one of Bloemfontein’s poorer townships.

Elsewhere, Southern Kings front-row Pieter Scholtz took us into his lounge where he gave his best impression of a fisherman out at sea.

Speaking of impressions, Newcastle Falcons’ Joel Matavesi did this hilarious impersonation of Sky Sports football analyst Chris Kamara missing a red card during a live crossing on the Soccer Saturday programme several years ago.
