It is time for Planet Rugby’s Sunday Social, your quirky recap of the serious and not so serious talking points from the past week’s action.

Saracens were worthy winners in the Champions Cup final as they came back to beat Leinster 20-10. Jamie George had fun at the presentation, making team-mate Mako Vunipola feel rather uncomfortable.

Before the game, it was all smiles in the Leinster camp as Johnny Sexton dropped Luke McGrath in it by admitting the scrum-half is a fan of TV show Geordie Shore. McGrath won’t thank him for that one.

The night before it was Clermont’s reason to cheer as they ran out winners of the Challenge Cup, seeing off French rivals La Rochelle at St James’ Park. It’s a rare final victory for them and they enjoyed it.

It wasn’t a walk in the park for Clermont though in Newcastle and fly-half Camille Lopez took the airborne route at one point, thanks to La Rochelle prop Dany Priso throwing him into touch like a rag doll.

Earlier in the week this prank call from Will Addison and Jacob Stockdale was a laugh a second as they got former Ulster wing Tommy Bowe hook, line and sinker. Stockdale has really nailed that accent…

There was some singing in the southern hemisphere as Reds tighthead prop Taniela Tupou celebrated his upcoming birthday with cake and a song. Unlike Stockdale’s accent, Tupou needs to work on his singing.

Next we move over to New Zealand and TJ Perenara who, while also showing class by congratulating Blues hooker James Parsons on his landmark game in an interview, embraced Otere Black at full-time.

One player who continues to show his class on the field is Crusaders fly-half Richie Mo’unga, with his two-try effort against the Bulls helping Scott Robertson’s side to a comfortable Super Rugby win in Pretoria.
