It is time for Planet Rugby’s Sunday Social, your quirky recap of the serious and not so serious talking points from the past week’s action.

With most of the game’s major tournaments still no closer to restarting due to the Covid-19 pandemic, players and supporters around the world continue to come up with innovative ways to keep busy during this time.

We start off with legendary Georgia back-row Mamuka Gorgodze, who announced his retirement this weekend and the Georgian Rugby Union bid farewell to arguably their best-ever player with this classy video.

In New Zealand, All Blacks and Blues front-row Ofa Tu’ungafasi showed that he would not be out of place if he decided to participate in a Strongman competition.

While, in South Africa, the Southern Kings players are also thinking outside the box to maintain their fitness levels.

In Belfast, Ulster utility back Mike Lowry caught the eye with this juggling act.

There was cause for celebration in England as Saracens Test lock Maro Itoje wished popular ex-British Army officer and NHS fundraiser Captain Tom Moore a happy 100th birthday.

Meanwhile, these photographs of Scotland coach Gregor Townsend and fly-half Finn Russell got plenty of laughs and raised a few eyebrows.

As did this one of former Scotland captain and scrum-half Greig Laidlaw.

Staying in Scotland, where Glasgow Warriors front-row and scrum coach Petrus du Plessis will have to add composer to his list of professions after coming up with this catchy tune.
