Staunton makes Wasps u-turn

Jeremy Staunton has returned to Wasps on loan from London Irish for the remainder of the current season.

Jeremy Staunton has returned to Wasps on loan from London Irish for the remainder of the current season.

Staunton, who played 34 games over two seasons for Wasps, left the club for the Madejski Stadium last summer but has returned as additional backs cover.

“It's good to have Jeremy back,” said Director of Rugby Ian McGeechan.

“He is an experienced player who knows how we operate and he will fit in well, as he always has done.”
