Spies one of six to leave Montpellier

With their season over Montpellier have announced that six players, including back-row Pierre Spies, have been released from the club.

Robins Tchale-Watchou, Akapusi Qera, Antoine Battut, Marvin O'Connor, Joffrey Michel and Spies are the six players leaving the Altrad Stadium.

Montpellier's Top 14 campaign came to an end on Saturday when they lost 22-13 to Racing 92, with Michel and Spies starting that home defeat.
