Denny Solomona's ongoing contract dispute with former club Castleford is set to go to court later this year.

The winger has made a bright start to life in Rugby Union with Premiership outfit Sale Sharks, being selected by Eddie Jones for the England tour to Argentina after qualifying on residency grounds.

Solomona, 23, left Rugby League outfit Castleford in acrimonious circumstances earlier this season, with Castleford seeking £500,000 in damages according to the Press Association from Solomona, his agent and Sale.

An out-of-court settlement was not reached between all parties, with a court date now set for the period between November 13 to January 12 for a seven-day trial in Leeds

Solomona still had two years on his contract to run with Castleford when he retired before signing a three-year deal with Sale, going on to score 11 tries in 15 appearances.
