Sharks Head Coach Robert du Preez has named a 25-man touring squad ahead of their return fixture against the Jaguares in Buenos Aires.
Du Preez has been highly critical of his side in the wake of their 9-9 draw with the Rebels at home on Saturday and will be hoping to make amends in South America.
Namibian-born Johan Deysel replaces Andre Esterhuizen, who has been banned for six weeks for dangerous play. Deysel will have played against some of the Jaguares players when Namibia clashed with Argentina in the 2015 World Cup. The squad depart tomorrow for Argentina.
“A strong travelling squad has been announced by du Preez, despite not having the luxury of selecting centre Andre Esterhuizen, due to suspension, and an injured Kobus van Wyk, who was a very late withdrawal from this past Saturday’s match against the Rebels, read an official statement on the Sharks’ website.
