Season over for Doussain

Toulouse half-back Jean-Marc Doussain has been ruled out for the season after suffering an injury against Munster.

Doussain underwent an operation on a facial injury this week picked up in last weekend’s Champions Cup quarter-final defeat, according to Midi Olympique.

The 26-year-old will therefore miss out on Toulouse’s trip to Toulon on Sunday, as well as the rest of the season run-in.

Doussain made one appearance for France in the recent Six Nations, coming off the bench in the first match against England at Twickenham, meaning his involvement for France’s three-Test tour of South Africa was in doubt in the first place.
