Scarlets to investigate racist chanting claims

Scarlets have confirmed they are investigating claims of racist chanting during their Champions Cup quarter-final win over La Rochelle.

The Welsh side beat their French visitors 29-17 on Friday but there's since been allegations of racist abuse aimed at La Rochelle players.

Scarlets are now looking into the matter, stating: "We have a proud history of being a family club and events such as this are completely unacceptable. An investigation will be undertaken to understand the full facts and background of the incident before commenting further."
