Scarlets-Leinster match postponed

PRO14 Rugby have confirmed the clash between Scarlets and Leinster has been postponed, joining four other games in being called off.

The decision was made after consultation among PRO14 Rugby, Scarlets and Leinster due to severe weather warnings that remain in place across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

A statement continued: "Due to the extreme weather and the snow and ice warning in Ireland, Dublin Airport is experiencing widespread disruption which will prevent Leinster from travelling to Wales.

"As has been the case with the other Round 17 postponements, the health and safety of supporters, match officials, players and staff from both clubs has been the foremost consideration.

"It is in the best interests of everyone involved to postpone the fixture and the rescheduled date and kick-off time will be confirmed as soon as possible.

"Once again, we hope that supporters understand the reasons behind this postponement and that any inconvenience caused is minor compared to the impact of making this decision closer to kick-off.

"All purchased tickets for the game will remain valid for the rearranged fixture."
