Santiago Cordero to start for UBB against Racing 92
Bordeaux-Begles have made some tweaks to their starting XV to take on Racing 92 in their Champions Cup quarter-final at Stade Chaban-Delmas.
In the only change in the backline, Santiago Cordero returns to start on the right wing with Yoram Moefana shifting to outside centre where he takes over from Pablo Uberti while Rémi Lamerat starts at inside centre.
Romain Buros continues at full-back with Ben Lam lining up on the left wing while Matthieu Jalibert and Maxime Lucu continue as the half-backs.
In the forwards, Scott Higginbotham is at number eight while Guido Petti and Cameron Woki are the starting flankers. The only other change to the side which beat Bristol Bears last weekend sees Kane Douglas replacing Jandré Marais in the second-row where he packs down alongside Cyril Cazeaux.
Loosehead prop Jefferson Poirot leads the team and is joined in the front-row by Clement Maynadier (hooker) and Vadim Cobilas (tighthead).
Several changes for Racing 92
Meanwhile, Racing 92 have named a much changed run-on side after last weekend’s victory over Edinburgh. In the backline, Kurtley Beale moves from full-back to inside centre where he takes over from Henry Chavancy with Emiliano Boffelli coming in to wear the number 15 jersey.
Elsewhere, Louis Dupichot shifts from the left to the right wing where he comes in for Teddy Thomas with Juan Imhoff taking his place on the left flank, while Olivier Klemenczak replaces Virimi Vakatawa at outside centre.
Scrum-half Maxime Machenaud captains the side and he forms a half-back combination with Antoine Gibert. In the pack, Wenceslas Lauret replaces Ibrahim Diallo on the blindside flank with Jordan Joseph (number eight) and Baptiste Chouzenoux (openside flank) completing the back-row.
The final change sees Boris Palu replacing Bernard le Roux and Palu joins Donnacha Ryan in the engine room while Camille Chat (hooker) and Cedate Gomes Sa and Eddy Ben Arous (props) complete the starting line-up.
