The Hurricanes will field the same starting XV from last weekend for this Friday's Super 14 encounter with the Chiefs at the Westpac Stadium.

Rodney So'oialo continues as captain and is part of an all-international back-row alongside Chris Masoe and Jerry Collins.

Behind the scrum Piri Weepu and Jimmy Gopperth continue at half-back, with the impressive Ma'a Nonu on the right wing.

The only change comes on the bench where Thomas Waldrom is replaced by his younger brother Scott.

The Hurricanes lost their opening game of this year's competition but bounced back last week beating the Reds 23-18.
