Another busy day in the rugby union game as, in our weekly round-up, we take a look at who shone and who disappointed over past seven days.
What’s on the site
In ‘who’s hot and who’s not,’ we discuss the Highlanders, who excelled at the weekend, while Montpellier were among those to underperform.
In Super Rugby, there were some excellent performances, particularly during the Chiefs-Crusaders match, and that is reflected in the Team of the Week.
Finally, check out highlights of the London Sevens, where Fiji claimed the victory after defeating South Africa in the final, while invitational side Ireland secured an incredible bronze.
What’s in the news
Josh Adams has been called up to the Wales squad after Steff Evans was ruled out of the two-Test series against Argentina. Tomas Francis has also been brought into the group as Samson Lee is struggling with a back issue.
New Zealand have been forced to call on reinforcements due to injuries to Brodie Retallick and Sam Whitelock, with the former certainly out of the first Test against France.
In contract news, George Kruis and Vincent Koch have extended their stay at Saracens, signing long-term deals with the Premiership champions.

What’s on TV
Although Wales took on South Africa last weekend, the international action really starts on Saturday as New Zealand face France, Australia host Ireland and South Africa play England on Sky Sports.
Channel 4 are covering the Argentina v Wales Test series while Scotland’s game against Canada is being broadcast by the BBC.
