Rugby Union Today: Weekend previews
Another busy day in the rugby union game as we preview both Rugby Championship games as well as Europe’s domestic action.
What’s on the site
South Africa and New Zealand begin Rugby Championship Round Six in Pretoria before Salta hosts Argentina and Australia.
There’s Premiership and Top 14 action on Saturday and Sunday plus the PRO14 round wraps up with four games on Saturday.
In other news the Sunwolves have signed Rene Ranger and Phil Burleigh ahead of Super Rugby 2019 while Italy and Zebre prop Sami Panico has had his club contract terminated after a drugs bust at his home.

Former Bath and England flanker Steve Ojomoh is in intensive care in hospital after suffering a stroke, the club has confirmed.
Harlequins head of rugby Paul Gustard wants the club’s supporters to ‘raise the roof’ when they face Saracens this weekend.

What’s on TV
Sky Sports will be showing Round Six of the Rugby Championship which sees South Africa host New Zealand before Argentina face Australia. The same network also televises the Mitre 10 Cup and Top 14.
BT Sport will show four Premiership games this weekend with Bath v Exeter Chiefs kicking things off on Friday at the Rec. Finally Premier Sports will again bring you all of the PRO14 action this weekend.
