Rugby Union Today: Wales squad and teams for Wednesday

Another busy day in the rugby union game as Wales announce their squad for the end-of-year internationals, plus Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors also name their sides for Wednesday’s rearranged Premiership showdown in Salford.

What’s on the site

Bristol Bears duo Callum Sheedy and Ioan Lloyd are picked in Wayne Pivac’s 38-man squad as Wales prepare for the Six Nations run-in and Test matches.

Sale and Worcester have also unveiled squads for the key game at the AJ Bell Stadium, but it still might not go ahead if more Covid-19 cases are confirmed.

Elsewhere, England are sweating over three players who have coronavirus, while Munster have suspended training after one of their players tested positive.

In the PRO14, Round Two’s matches kick off on Premier Sports when Dragons and Zebre do battle this Friday. Elsewhere, on Sky Sports there is Mitre 10 Cup action throughout the weekend.
