Rugby Union Today: Unhappy Expert Witness and Ireland team
Another busy day in the rugby union game as former England hooker George Chuter doesn’t hold back as our Expert Witness while Ireland have announced their team to face Wales this Saturday.
What’s on the site
Chuter is clearly unhappy with what he witnessed in England’s opening Six Nations game and targets head coach Eddie Jones after his comments to the media, which he feels are not helping his players one bit.
Continuing with England and it seems highly likely that they will persist with Tom Curry at number eight against Scotland.
What’s in the news
Wales full-back Liam Williams is set to miss his side’s next two games as his recovery from injury isn’t progressing quickly.
Elsewhere, the Blues have suffered a setback after centre Rieko Ioane was ruled out for several weeks due to a hand fracture.
What’s on social media
Footage has emerged of France wing Vincent Rattez throwing England lock Maro Itoje’s scrum cap away. Thoughts on this?
