Another busy day in the rugby union game as we name our Teams of the Week following the Six Nations and Super Rugby action.

What’s on the site

After a superb weekend of Six Nations and Super Rugby action we have the Teams of the week from those respective competitions.

There are highlights of the Premiership, PRO14 and Top 14 action, while we also have a rundown of who’s hot and who’s not.

What’s in the news

A great career came to an end as Jamie Heaslip announced his retirement from the game on medical grounds. The number eight won 95 caps for Ireland and featured in both the 2009 and 2013 British and Irish Lions tours.

Talented young Scarlets’ back-row Jack Condy joined Heaslip in being forced to retire. The 23-year-old was highly-rated but, after suffering a knee injury, the Welshman has sadly had to give up the professional game.

Continuing in Wales and Stormers head coach Robbie Fleck has been linked with the Ospreys job, with the region looking for a replacement for the recently sacked Steve Tandy.

What’s on TV

The Six Nations takes its final break so the Premiership, PRO14 and Super Rugby takes centre stage. BT Sport will broadcast three matches from England’s top-tier, showing Harlequins-Bath, Exeter-Saracens and Worcester-Leicester.

On Sky Sports, they have six Super Rugby games and the Scarlets v Leinster and Cheetahs v Connacht encounters from the PRO14. The sevens also continues with the Las Vegas leg of the series being televised throughout the weekend.
