Another busy day in the rugby union game as we named our best XV from the international games that took place over the weekend.

What’s on the site

The end-of-year internationals began in earnest at the weekend and we have named our Team of the Week from the four main matches that took place. There is also a quiz on those encounters, so test your knowledge on the seven questions.

In ‘who’s hot and who’s not‘, the November games are also featured, while we also discuss Alex Lozowski’s disappointing week and Toulouse’s excellent victory over Bordeaux.

What’s in the news

South Africa have been handed a huge boost with the news that Faf de Klerk and their other overseas-based players are available for this weekend’s game against France.

Scotland have also received positive news having named star full-back Stuart Hogg in their squad to take on Fiji at Murrayfield on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Chris van Zyl has signed a short-term contract with Saracens, while Ulster’s Chris Henry has announced his retirement from the game.

What’s on social media

One of the tries of the season was scored at the weekend as Jersey produced this length of the field effort against London Irish in England’s second-tier.

What’s on TV

It is a packed schedule this weekend with the November internationals continuing and Sky Sports will show England’s match against New Zealand, while the BBC will broadcast Wales v Australia and Scotland v Fiji.

Channel 4 have Ireland’s encounter with Argentina and Premier Sports will broadcast Italy v Georgia and France v South Africa.

On BT Sport, they will show the third round of the Premiership Rugby Cup, with Gloucester v Northampton and Wasps v Bristol featured.
