Another busy day in the rugby union game as we bring you our game previews for the first Six Nations weekend plus an exclusive interview with two former England international forwards.

Following on from yesterday’s France v Wales match preview, here’s our Scotland v Italy and Ireland v England previews.

We also have an exclusive chat with Lewis Moody and the last England player to score a Six Nations try in Dublin, Steve Thompson. The pair give their opinion on the upcoming clash at the Aviva Stadium.

Ahead of tonight’s game in Paris, Wales head coach Warren Gatland has admitted his focus lies solely on claiming the title.

Meanwhile in the club game, Edinburgh have secured the services of Scotland winger Darcy Graham on a new two-year deal.

What’s on TV

It is all about the Six Nations for the next month-and-a-half and the games will be shown on either the BBC or ITV. This weekend the former have France v Wales and Scotland v Italy while ITV will broadcast the gargantuan meeting between Ireland and England.

The domestic competitions in Europe are therefore on a break right now but BT Sport are showing the Premiership Rugby Cup, which has Worcester Warriors v Wasps, while the Sevens continues on Sky Sports.
