What’s on the site

England defence coach John Mitchell has committed his future to the international team after signing a fresh deal that covers World Cup 2023.

Elsewhere, Caelan Doris and Quinn Roux are doubtful for Ireland’s fixture with Wales on Sunday after returning to their provinces due to injuries.

What’s in the news

France will take part in the Six Nations as scheduled after their sports minister announced the easing of quarantine rules for participating teams.

In the club game, Wales international hopeful, WillGriff John, will leave Premiership side Sale Sharks at the end of the season to join the Scarlets.

FAB Rugby are at it again with their mini rugby series hitting the Six Nations. We’re loving these as the likes of Antoine Dupont and Stuart Hogg star.

What’s on TV

The Six Nations starts on Saturday with Italy and France opening proceedings at the Stadio Olimpico. England and Scotland then compete for the Calcutta Cup at Twickenham before Wales and Ireland clash in Cardiff on Sunday. The first two games will be on ITV with the final encounter being shown on the BBC.

There’s also domestic matters in the northern hemisphere as the Premiership continues on BT Sport. It starts on Friday with Bristol v Sale Sharks.

Finally, there’s one PRO14 contest that has been rearranged for this weekend as Dragons face Connacht at Rodney Parade, live on Premier Sports.
