Another busy day in the rugby union game as Loose Pass returned to Planet Rugby to provide its unique take on several topics in the sport.

France have enjoyed a good couple of years at U20 level and Loose Pass believes that they have finally got their system right. They were less positive over the sport’s future, however, following the announcement that Leicester were up for sale.

Meanwhile, former All Black wing Julian Savea has accepted a pay cut to remain at Toulon after enduring a poor campaign at the the three-time European champions.

Finally, Montpellier have bolstered their back-row options by bringing in Wallaby forward Caleb Timu, who has played twice for Australia, from Super Rugby side the Reds.
