What’s on the site

Monday means Hot and Not and we’ve got you covered in regards to the past week’s good and bad from the sport, including the Crusaders’ Super Rugby victory and Sonny Bill Williams’ rotten luck with injury.

Our Team of the Season sees a good mix included, such as Semisi Masirewa and Melani Nanai, as Super Rugby is now over.

Crusaders head coach Scott Robertson feels he’s done what he can to be considered for the All Blacks job after the World Cup.

What’s in the news

James O’Connor’s hopes of featuring for Australia in the World Cup moved a step closer as he is training with the Wallabies.

Elsewhere, Tonga have included Nasi Manu in their training squad for the tournament. Manu had testicular cancer in 2018.

What’s on social media

By default, here is the Super Rugby Try of the Round. At least it was a beauty from the Crusaders, finished by Codie Taylor.

What’s on TV

The Women’s Rugby Super Series continues on Sky Sports this week, with the action kicking off on Wednesday with England versus France before Canada take on near neighbours the USA on Thursday.
