Rugby Union Today: Expert Witness and moves aplenty

Another busy day in the rugby union game as we welcome former England captain and scrum-half Kyran Bracken as our Expert Witness, reviewing the team’s efforts in the recent Six Nations games.
What’s on the site
Bracken gives an in-depth interview with James While on how England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales are faring. We also have five takeaways from the Round Three action plus injury news for England and Andy Farrell on his Ireland side’s performance.
In the club game, Ospreys have announced Toby Booth will be their new head coach from next season while Scarlets will have Liam Williams available for the remainder of the campaign and Rhys Webb is off to Bath.
What’s in the news
Wales have suffered a major setback after wing Josh Adams was ruled out for the rest of the Six Nations due to an ankle injury.
In the PRO14, there is a new signing for Ulster ahead of next season and it is a familiar face, with Alby Mathewson joining them.
What’s on social media
This is a good video from World Rugby as it’s incredibly similar to the Owen Farrell-CJ Stander leg-grab incident at Twickenham.

What’s on TV
It is the second – and final – fallow week in the Six Nations, which means focus turns to domestic matters in Europe. In the Premiership, three matches – Gloucester v Sale Sharks, Harlequins v Exeter Chiefs and Bath v Bristol Bears – will be shown live on BT Sport.
Meanwhile, five games take place in the PRO14 with Munster’s clash with Scarlets on Saturday the standout fixture on Premier Sports.
Finally, Super Rugby continues on Sky Sports and the action begins in Dunedin on Friday as the Highlanders and Rebels go toe-to-toe.
