Rugby Union Today: Injury blows and Six Nations build-up
Another busy day in the rugby union game as we build up to the penultimate round of this year’s Six Nations Championship.
What’s on the site
England will be without both Jack Nowell and Sam Underhill while Dylan Hartley is a doubt for their game against France in Paris on Saturday. For Ireland incoming centre Garry Ringrose has been backed to shine by his team-mate Keith Earls.
In the club game Tom Varndell has moved from Bristol to the Scarlets while Harlequins have snapped up Ben Tapuai from Bath.
We also of course also have Loose Pass which covers Northampton, George North and Eddie Jones.

There’s been a few coaching changes at Worcester and they also confirmed that Defence & Kicking Strategy Coach Omar Mouneimne is staying on.
Off the field there was a blow for fans who enjoy free-to-air PRO14 rugby on the BBC as they have confirmed that they have failed to extend their deal.

What’s on TV
Round four of the Six Nations takes place this weekend with ITV broadcasting Ireland’s clash against Scotland, while France-England and Wales-Italy will be shown on BBC.
There is also plenty of action on Sky Sports and BT Sport. The former has a packed Super Rugby schedule but will also televise the France v England women’s Six Nations match, as well as two Top 14 encounters and the Vancouver Sevens.
On BT, the Anglo-Welsh Cup returns for the semi-finals as Bath and Northampton Saints go head-to-head on Friday, with the Exeter-Newcastle contest taking place on Sunday.
