Another busy day in the rugby union game as we preview the Premiership, PRO14 and Top 14 round as well as bringing you the big news.

Saracens scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth will break the record for most Premiership appearances when he plays on Sunday. We also preview Saturday’s PRO14 action and the Top 14.
In other news there was a setback for Glasgow and Scotland as Stuart Hogg had surgery on his ankle while the All Blacks will be without Kieran Read against Argentina, but New Zealand Rugby will be delighted to tie down Rieko and Akira Ioane on new contracts.
What’s in the news
In a blow ahead of Friday night’s action, Ulster will be without wing Craig Gilroy due to an injury which means a reshuffle.
Meanwhile, former England star Will Greenwood has questioned what more Danny Cipriani has to do to make the Test team.

What’s on TV
With the Rugby Championship taking a week’s break, the big northern hemisphere leagues take centre stage and BT Sport will broadcast Newcastle v Exeter, Sale v Wasps and Saracens v Gloucester this weekend.
On Premier Sports, they are once again showing all seven matches from the PRO14, with Leinster v Edinburgh the standout contest.
Finally, on Sky Sports, the Top 14 is the main attraction with Bordeaux taking on leaders Clermont and Montpellier hosting Toulouse, while they also continue their Currie Cup and Mitre 10 Cup coverage.
