Premiership club Northampton Saints have announced that four members of their first-team squad have signed new contracts with the Franklin’s Gardens outfit.

Backs Harry Mallinder, Ahsee Tuala and Tom Collins, plus England international prop Paul Hill, have all agreed fresh terms at the club.

The quartet boast a combined Saints appearance total of just under 400 games.

“We are absolutely delighted to sign these boys on,” Northampton director of rugby Chris Boyd said. “They have been here for a long time and are all an important part of the fabric of our organisation.

“They’ve all played a good chunk for us, but a few of them are still young, too, and they are all important cogs in our machine.

“We are not completely finished in terms of our recruitment and retention, but we are getting very close to getting the balance we want.”
