Scarlets displayed their superiority to thrash the Dragons 47-13 and move seven points clear at the top of Conference B.
Arwel Robson did open the scoring for the Newport-based outfit but the hosts soon began to show their range of skills, scoring three tries via James Davies, Tom Prydie and Dan Jones.
Bernard Jackman’s men hit back at the end of the first half via the boot of Carl Meyer but the home side maintained their control on the encounter in the second period.
The West Walians put together some wonderful attacks from deep and were rewarded by quick-fire efforts from Aled Davies and Aaron Shingler.
With the game over as a contest, it became loose and the Scarlets profited further, crossing the whitewash via Will Boyde and Rhys Jones.
However, the Dragons had the final word through Sarel Pretorius.

Edinburgh 37-7 Southern Kings
Myreside
Edinburgh maintained the pressure on third place Ulster in Conference B following a comfortable 37-7 triumph over the winless Southern Kings.
Conditions meant that free-flowing rugby was at a premium and the supporters had to wait until the second quarter for the first score.
That came through the home side’s fly-half Jaco van der Walt before the floodgates opened and Grant Gilchrist touched down after displaying some impressive footballing skills.
Blair Kinghorn then crossed the whitewash as Richard Cockerill’s men moved into a 15-0 lead at the interval.
The Kings, alongside fellow South African side the Cheetahs, had a break over Christmas and New Year, but it did not seem to do them any good as the hosts continued to dominate.
Van der Walt kicked a second three-pointer and Duhan van der Merwe then went over to effectively complete the win.
Edinburgh then went in search of the bonus-point and they duly got their reward through Cameron Fenton and Dougie Fife.
Ntabeni Dukisa’s effort was sandwiched in between the Scottish outfit’s last two tries but it was another disappointing evening for the Kings.
