Preview: Toulouse v Glasgow
Glasgow have made two changes to their starting line-up for Saturday's Heineken Cup clash with Toulouse at Stade Ernest Wallon.
Glasgow Warriors have made just two changes to their line-up for Tuesday's Heineken Cup meeting with Toulouse.
This game has been postponed to Tuesday December 21.
The Warriors return to Toulouse for the first time since they recorded the biggest result in their history back in January 2009, but they do so this season with a squad of players entering the home of the “Rouge et Noir” for the very first time.
“I'm confident well do a lot better. It's a fantastic stadium to play at, but the guys just need to focus and make sure we get the performance we need,” said Head Coach Sean Lineen.
Last weekend saw Toulouse run in three tries to one against the Warriors as a misfiring scrum and lineout proved to be Glasgow's vice.
He added: “We can't take much confidence from the weekend because we didn't play that well.
“Our set piece wasn't good and our defence wasn't great. We can't give them that much ball or that much respect this weekend.”
Both changes are in the backs where the scrum-halves and wings swap places with their respective replacements.
Hefin O'Hare is selected in front of Federico Aramburu whilst Colin Gregor is preferred to Henry Pyrgos in a bid to bolster the experience in the XV.
“We just a little more leadership and experience at scrum-half. We had a good team out last weekend but it's now about putting our performance right in such a massive game,” the boss continued.
“There aren't many bigger games than Toulouse away in the Heineken Cup.”
Toulouse have named a strong-looking XV for the home game against the Warriors, with their back-line as strong as it could be for coach Guy Noves.
Clément Poitrenaud is recalled at full-back as Maxime Medard moves to wing in place of Vincent Clerc, who is alongside Vilimoni Delasau on the bench.
Further forward and two changes are made in the back-row where Shaun Sowerby and Yannick Nyanga are replaced by Louis Picamoles and Jean Bouilhou respectively. Virgile Lacombe starts at hooker with William Servat out of the 23.
