Leeds Carnegie have made wholesale changes ahead of Saturday's Amlin Challenge Cup clash with Bucuresti.

Only number eight Rhys Oakley remains in the starting XV from last week's narrow defeat to Harlequins in the Guinness Premiership.

American international prop Mike MacDonald makes his first start of the season whilst Rob Rawlinson makes his long awaited return.

There are three players in the side who have previous experience of playing against the Oaks, two of which who have played in Romania in this competition. Phil Murphy (Worcester) and Jon Goodridge (Gloucester) will be on familiar ground whilst Jason Strange (Bristol) will be hoping to make a winning return to the Carnegie side.
