Parra – ‘Saracens best in Europe’
Clermont scrum-half Morgan Parra says that European Champions Cup final opponents Saracens are ‘the best team in Europe’.
The two sides will clash on Saturday at Murrayfield for European Rugby’s most coveted prize.
Saracens are defending champions while Clermont lost to Toulon in 2015 in their most recent final.
Both sides are still in contention for a domestic and European double and Parra is aware that Saries pose the ultimate threat.
“We are going to play the best team in Europe. They are excellent in everything they do,” Parra told EPC Rugby.
“They are maybe less spectacular than some other teams, but their efficiency all over the field is unbelievable. Against teams like this, you have to try to destabilise them, but not over play and expose yourself. That balance will be very hard to find.”
“We are at a good moment of the season. Since October, we played in this Champions Cup to go and get the title. We know how hard it will be and we are fully aware of what’s ahead of us.
“But we have to go even further than that, let ourselves go and believe in us all the way.”
